 | Radio 4 Today Programme
A CPI innovation project was profiled on the Radio 4's Today programme this week.
Today showcased Vision Housing as an example of a cost saving, community driven project - a perfect example of what the Big Society is all about.
Vision Housing was given a grant by CPI in 2006 using money from the Government Office for London. The Government Office had asked us to find and fund innovative projects that supported offenders coming out of prison.

Annys has said of CPI's innovation grant model:
"When I set up Vision Housing, I had little more than my benefits and mobile phone. CPI were one of the first organisations to support me: both financially and to recognise the innovative work we were doing.
At the time, I wasn't getting a great deal of support from anyone - thankfully that has now changed. Sometimes small investments can pay great dividends and in this case it has. We are extremely grateful for the support that you have given to me and my team. Together, we have helped turn around the lives of many vulnerable people."
