CPI has supported the preparation and launch of Mental Health First Aid.
Mental Health First Aid is an organisation providing 12-hour intensive course to teach people in the workplace how to spot common mental health problems, causes, symptoms and treatments.
They teach people how to:
•recognise distress
•recognise the difference between Therapy and First Aid
•be confident in administering help in a First Aid situation
•provide initial help and guide a person towards appropriate support
